Sir ,what about non tech

Hello Sir ! I a commerce undergraduate and just finished with my B com 4th sem final exams. Currently I have two career options 1. Either prepare for govt jobs where selection rate is 0.1% and on top I am from general category 2. Or learn about coding, programming, dsa , etc and build a career in tech With the current job market of IT industry where AI is going to take many jobs....is it possible for a commerce background student to get a good and high paying job ? Please help 🙏

When one land in a wrong job/role and take this matter up to the manager/hr, they will give false assurances. When I know this is not the correct job for me, just walk away from the office and don't pick up any phone. Fcuk the 90 day notice period.

Big companies have formal tool to do this and capture in system but many incompetent managers do not show interest. Corp HR is the main culprit here they keep these tools just for a show. I have taken 50 plus such connects with my team members and mentored as needed. But some jaradgabas keep themselves away from this.

For youtube, we can speak like everything is fine out there.. But in reality everything goes different.. Project Goal dont exist at lower and mid levels. Managers have many years of experience but it doesn't mean that they have good skills. If higher up is not skilled then its going to affect all downstream.. Managers only goal is to get high salary and promotions.. There is no other goals to managers😂. Team members are just playing dice.

No manager is interested to talk one to one at least in India .... I hope you heard about the latest trend from the CEO of the most valued company - Nvidia , if its a trend in USA ofcourse it will strengthen the existing ignorance even more . After joining no one gives a damn about your career....they just care about billing rate period! Indian managers in a nutshell lol 😅
